Stardust Lounge

My girlfriend and some friends of ours went there about two weeks ago and we had a great time. It has a great low key look but classy at the same time. We went on a Saturday night and they played 80's retro so everyone there had a blast! It's in a beautiful part of the city, right next to the lake and beautiful restaurants as well. It's a hidden gem in my opinion. It's away from the church/wall st. crowd so It's a much needed change. Definitely recommend it.

I was def impressed when my friends took me out to Stardust for my 22 birthday, cause there we're so many cute boys there to greet me! I got really tipsy and ended up going home with sore legs from dancing all night... I recommend Stardust to any birthday girl wanting to get a last minute birthday gift that keep on giving to the early morning hours!!! ;)

It's a pity that they took one of our best local hangouts and turned it into yet another destination for hipster wanna-be's and squealy sorority girls.

I avoided Stardust for a long time, mourning the demise of Lee's Underground, but finally broke down and stopped in. All of my fears were realized right away.
The place that was once home to the neighborhood, where you ran into friends and a diverse group of folks ranging from chic gay men having a flirtation in the back to restaurant workers finishing a shift, has turned into a seething mass of overly tanned Paris Hilton look alikes and the men who pursue them.


Such a shame that the places that were unique and diverse in downtown are being taken over by soulless corporations pandering to the lowest common denominator.

If you're looking to hang out with a crowd of people trying desperately and loudly to show everyone else what a wonderful time that they're having, you'll find decent service, a nice enough staff, and good drink prices. If you want a taste of the real people of downtown, go elsewhere.

Jesus Christ I don't know where to start! I guess The service was decent since I had to deal with a somewhat drunk bartender (pretty girl if your into the whole not showering look). They did have a good beer so I guess that was a plus (but it still didn't make me enjoy this place). I know bars are supposed to be loud but it sucks when the place is mostly empty and you got this group of hipster talking loud so other people can hear them say old internet memes that are about 1 to 2 years old or they just talk about how much they love there Apple products (iphone, ipad, and so on). I actually tried some of the food they offered and it was pretty good (kudos to the grumpy looking cook they had working that night). But honestly I wont be going back for a long time, so I guess if you like hanging around obnoxious spoiled hipster that reek of Urban Outfitters this is the place for you!
