Recently, the CFLBARS.COM Street Team was out and about collecting local drink specials in Downtown Orlando, FL. Thursday proved to be a great night to grab some drink specials at a few local bars and clubs. What’s better? No cover!

Start your night out at Casey’s, on Central just off of Orange Ave. Ordering up a long island will get you a tall glass filled with a great tasting blend of liquor, ice and not much else! For about $6 this drink packs a strong punch you're sure to feel on the way to your next destination.

Bar-be-que Bar on Orange Ave hosts a $2 beer special on Thursday's. Grab a PBR and make your way around to Independent Bar, where you can dance to a live DJ under the stars. Although these bars are not the most posh in Orlando, they are all lined up one after another allowing you to find your favorite.

We spotted The Lodge. Inspired by the look and feel of northern ski lodges, you will be welcomed by Santa, Frosty and you guessed it the Abominable Snowman. Head to the bar and order up your favorite beer in a can for just $2. After a few, take your best shot at the punching bag and see how you size up to your friends and others around.

Walking down to the newly remodeled Church Street seemed to be a bust at first. It was still early on and not too much action on the street. We walked around to see what clubs and bars were open and listen as the drink specials and promotions were being spouted off by the door crews at each venue. We elected to go in Chillers, a place we are all familiar with since their Wednesday $1 drinks always draw a huge crowd. Pleased with something different, Thursdays you will find live music and even a chance to get a free drink pass from the bouncer. Just ask!

We ended the night at SKY60, a rooftop bar and lounge looking over Orange Ave. No cover at the door and the ladies get half off drinks all night. Welcoming a more upscale crowd, you will find SKY60 nicely decorated with a Miami theme of all white.
